In Miss Congeniality, Miss Rhode Island was asked in the interview portion of the beauty contest to describe her perfect date.  Her answer was April 25th because it's not too hot and it's not too cold, all you need is a light jacket.  Well, for me, a favorite date has to be December 5, 2011.  That's the day I got the news that my first book, A Life Worth Living, was accepted for publishing with Storyteller Publishing.  Since then I've gone from, "Oh, my gosh! Yipee!" to "This can't be real. Where's the hidden camera."  But, it is real (it is, isn't it???).  If things stay on target, by the end of June 2012 I'll be holding my first book in my hands.  Watch for the picture with my super huge smile.

UPDATE

Because life is just that...life, it's subject to change at any moment. A Life Worth Living has been subjected to life's little changes. The release date has changed from late June to now being July 3. However, that's not such a horrible thing. It's only a few weeks difference. And, what follows July 3? That's right. July 4. Fireworks and get togethers. It will be like a special party just for me. Well, okay, a special party for A Life Worth Living. But, I mean, truly, A Life Worth Living is ME, isn't it? So, stay tuned. Keep watch. And have patience. It will be worth the wait.
